I put shutters on all windows and had to bring in two roller shades for two patio doors and one beautiful other type of cover to go over my morning kitchen window absolutely amazing. We underwent a huge home remodel & went from the white slat wood-esk blinds (which cats and dogs ruin) to these amazing heavy duty, almost blackout shades. They're easy to place up and down depending on how much light you want. AND, they're elegant and sophisticated!

Pros:1) We love our new shutters - they really elevate the look of our home.2) We worked with Phil to choose the window treatments - he brought plenty of samples and was patient and kind to us, our toddler, and dogs.3) The installers worked quickly and removed/hauled away our old blinds and had the new ones installed, all in under 2 hours.Cons:1) We did have a scheduling issue because we needed a morning installation slot - the scheduling ladies were not very friendly or accommodating BUT Phil took care of this by coordinating an independent installer to come and install our blinds, on a holiday Monday even!2) Our arched windows caused a 2 week production delayOverall would still recommend.

I met Phil, owner from VIP Shutters, at the Home Show. I was impressed with the fact that this company manufactures, installs and repairs your shutters. VIP Shutters is not a company that takes your order, has someone else manufacture it, then, someone else install it, and then are gone. Being a cautious person, and wanting to see how great the company was and their promise of customer care after installation would be, I went with an initial order of eight shutters. I am a low vision person, so I touch/everything, that is how I see what they look like and if there are problems. I will say that Phil and his crew have gone above and beyond with my order! Being so impressed with VIP Shutters, I ordered Shutters for 20+ more windows.
